Dr Camp is a Sociologist Professor at Luzerne Community College in
Nanticoke, PA. I ran into his site while surfing the internet looking for other hikers pages. When I contacted him, he was hiking in southern Florida. This is not a regularly updated blog, but I decided to include it anyway. Maybe Dr. Camp will start posting some trip reports in the near future.
Portland Hikers is actually an online hiking community for Portland Area Hikers. It is complete with a Hiking forum, news and events centered in Portland, trail reviews, maps, trail locators, and a pretty sweet photo gallery. The trail locator is pretty handy. It will help you find a local hike based on difficulty, type of hike, or the environment you wish to hike in. If you're in the Portland area you'll want to check this one out!
