www.expeditionkalapatthar.blogspot.com

Expedition Kala Patthar is a blog started by two New Hampshire hikers who plan on hiking to Everest Base Camp in Oct. 2010, then on to Kala Patthar, a 18,200 peak in the shadow of Everest. This will also be their honeymoon, as they plan on getting married in Kathmandu before the trek.
We started this blog in November as a record of our training in the White Mountains and New England, as well as a journal of our day to day preparations for this exciting undertaking!
We’re always looking for advice, pictures and commentary from others who have traveled to this part of the world!
Come and join us at www.expeditionkalapatthar.blogspot.com. Become a follower on our site and we’ll bring you back a gift from Nepal.

ulster-walker-keith-brownrigg

Ulster Walker is written by Keith Brownrigg an outdoor enthusiast from Helen’s Bay, Northern Ireland. The blog began in summer 2009 as a “live” blog whilst walking the 600 mile Ulster Way raising money for the Lifeboats. It continues mainly as a record of recent outdoor adventures, but also includes thoughts on music, design and anything else that I find interesting.

You can find me and the blog at http://ulsterwalker.blogspot.com/
Stop by and say hi!

Hiking is about exploring the unknown, the unexpected, meeting people along the way and hearing their life stories. At the same time, trying to reach a goal, a high peak and feel like on top of the world. And finally about being in constant touch with nature, enjoying this wonderful planet we live in. This blog is about an outdoorsy Brazilian girl that now lives in busy London, but never forgot about her roots close to nature and is trying to keep her passion for hiking alive.

The Juicy Grape is primarily a blog abou walking / hiking / wine / song and other activities.
Primarily the blog is about hikes and trails my partner and I have been on but the blog will also include activities such as photography, watersorts and music (gigs) etc. We were recently privileged to be in Yosemite National Park and did some great hikes and these will be posted in due course. I’ve just done a piece on the Upper and Lower Falls and there is also a hike included on the South Downs Way in Ken, UK.
I’ve just started this blog so would be very happy to hear any comments. Please check us out.
Thanks,
Mark

hikingtaiwanI came originally came to Taiwan, like so many people, with the idea that I would have a bit of fun, teach English and then 6 months down the line I’d be off.. it’s been 4 years now and I’m still here! Before coming to Taiwan, I never really had much interest in hiking but now it has developed into a bit of an obsession. I’m not at the moment entirely sure what i plan to do with this blog other than keep track of all the places i visit and perhaps give other people ideas for places to go to.

I am a Kiwi currently living in Vancouver, BC and a mad keen trail and road runner. I started up my blog a couple of months ago as a way to keep in touch with friends and family back home and to chart my journey to the New York Marathon at the end of the year. I am raising funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, so am also using the blog as a means of getting word out.

Being in Vancouver I have embraced the trail running scene, which is awesome, and taking part in the Knee Knacker and Stormy trail races along with some other shorter races.
