Ulster Walker is written by Keith Brownrigg an outdoor enthusiast from Helen’s Bay, Northern Ireland. The blog began in summer 2009 as a “live” blog whilst walking the 600 mile Ulster Way raising money for the Lifeboats. It continues mainly as a record of recent outdoor adventures, but also includes thoughts on music, design and anything else that I find interesting.

Stop by and say hi!
Hiking is about exploring the unknown, the unexpected, meeting people along the way and hearing their life stories. At the same time, trying to reach a goal, a high peak and feel like on top of the world. And finally about being in constant touch with nature, enjoying this wonderful planet we live in. This blog is about an outdoorsy Brazilian girl that now lives in busy London, but never forgot about her roots close to nature and is trying to keep her passion for hiking alive.
Primarily the blog is about hikes and trails my partner and I have been on but the blog will also include activities such as photography, watersorts and music (gigs) etc. We were recently privileged to be in Yosemite National Park and did some great hikes and these will be posted in due course. I’ve just done a piece on the Upper and Lower Falls and there is also a hike included on the South Downs Way in Ken, UK.

Walking, backpacking and wildcamping in the UK's wilder landscape, as well as a bit of local stuff. I like movement, the outdoors & (sometimes) the peace & quiet of my own thoughts and actions. Walking in wild places does it for me.
