Sectionhiker is Philip Werner's blog and provides long distance hikers and backpackers with gear reviews and articles on ultralight backpacking technique. Philip is an avid hiker and backpacker who is section hiking the AT and Long Trail and also backpacks regularly in the Catskills, Adirondacks, and White Mountains. He is also an active member and instructor with the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Green Mountain Club. Philip's trail name is earlylite because he likes to break camp at sunrise.
