Yosemite Backpacking BlogPlanning a trip to Yosemite? This blog is centered around the national park and all of the activities to do there. While the blog itself covers many areas of outdoor activities in Yosemite, I've provided a link to the backpacking section where you can read news and information about backpacking in Yosemite. The blog offers photos as well as helpful information about trails and lodging within the park. Blogging From: Yosemite, CA Blogging Since: Oct, 2004

Yosemite is the most unbelievable place on the planet. The first time I hiked in Yosemite was in 1964 and it was not as crowded as it is today. It left me with an indelible memory.

Today it is great other than in the summer when the crowds are everywhere. I suggest going in the early fall after the tourists have cleared out and before the weather changes. It is unreal.

NP and is being reviewed at several other National Parks for their bookstores. See my website at http://www.rickbrown-rangerup.com for details.
